Care Guide
Made to Be Worn. Cared for to Last.
Thoughtful care helps your LOENOO pieces keep their shape, texture, and character for longer.
Always check the care label attached to the garment first. Different fabrics, colours, trims, and hand-finished details may require different care.
01 | BEFORE WASHING
Check the garment care label.
Separate light and dark colours.
Close buttons, hooks, and zips.
Turn embroidered, knitted, crochet, and printed pieces inside out.
Place delicate garments in a mesh laundry bag where possible.
Wash similar fabrics and colours together.
02 | GENTLE WASHING
Use cold or cool water unless the care label states otherwise.
Choose a gentle cycle and a mild detergent.
Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, and fabric treatments that may affect colour, texture, or delicate fibres.
Do not leave wet garments sitting in the washing machine for extended periods.
03 | COTTON
Cotton is soft, breathable, and easy to wear.
Wash in cold or cool water on a gentle cycle.
Reshape the garment after washing.
Air dry where possible to help reduce shrinkage and maintain the original shape.
Use low to medium heat when ironing, following the garment label.
04 | LINEN & LINEN BLENDS
Linen naturally has a relaxed texture and may crease during wear.
Wash gently in cold or cool water.
Avoid overcrowding the washing machine.
Reshape while damp and air dry.
Use a low to medium iron on the reverse side if a smoother finish is preferred.
Natural creasing is part of the character of linen.
05 | LIGHTWEIGHT VISCOSE
Viscose-based fabrics may feel softer and more delicate when wet.
Use cold water and a gentle washing method.
Do not twist or wring the fabric.
Reshape carefully and dry away from direct heat.
Use a low-temperature iron or steamer only when permitted by the care label.
06 | KNITWEAR
Knitted garments can stretch when hung while wet.
Wash gently by hand or use a delicate cycle when permitted.
Support the full weight of the garment when lifting it from the water.
Gently press out excess water without twisting.
Reshape and lay flat to dry.
Store folded instead of hanging to help maintain the shape.
07 | CROCHET
Crochet pieces require careful handling because of their open structure.
Hand wash gently in cold water when recommended.
Do not pull, twist, or wring the garment.
Lay flat to dry and reshape the edges while damp.
Keep crochet away from jewellery, rough bags, sharp surfaces, and objects that may catch the yarn.
08 | EMBROIDERY & HAND-FINISHED DETAILS
Turn embroidered garments inside out before washing.
Use a mesh laundry bag and select a gentle cycle where machine washing is permitted.
Avoid rubbing, brushing, or pressing directly onto decorative stitching.
Do not apply high heat directly to embroidery, beading, or hand-finished areas.
Small differences in stitching or placement may be part of the individual character of the garment.
09 | DRYING
Air drying is the preferred method for many LOENOO pieces.
Do not tumble dry unless the care label specifically allows it.
Lay knitted and crochet garments flat to dry.
Hang lightweight woven pieces on a suitable hanger where permitted.
Keep delicate fabrics away from strong direct sunlight and high heat.
10 | IRONING & STEAMING
Check the care label before applying heat.
Use the lowest suitable temperature.
Iron delicate, embroidered, printed, or textured fabrics on the reverse side.
Place a clean cloth between the iron and delicate details where needed.
A gentle steamer may be suitable for some garments, but avoid placing steam too close to sensitive trims.
11 | STORAGE
Make sure garments are completely dry before storing.
Fold knitwear and crochet pieces to prevent stretching.
Use padded or shaped hangers for delicate tops, dresses, and tailored garments.
Keep embroidery, lace, and open-knit textures away from sharp objects.
Store lighter colours in a clean, dry space to reduce marking or colour transfer.
12 | STAINS
Treat stains as soon as possible.
Blot gently instead of rubbing.
Test any cleaning product on a hidden area first.
For delicate, embroidered, structured, or heavily detailed garments, professional cleaning may be the safest option.
13 | PROFESSIONAL CLEANING
Some tailored, structured, embellished, or delicate pieces may require professional cleaning.
Choose a cleaner experienced with embroidery, crochet, knitwear, lace, and delicate fabrics.
Show the cleaner the garment care label and point out any hand-finished details.
14 | CARE WITH CONFIDENCE
Care instructions may vary between products.
The care label attached to the garment is always the most accurate guide for that specific piece.
When in doubt, choose the gentlest method or contact us before cleaning.
